Welcome to NEMUGS.com, the website of the Northeast MAXIMO User Group (“NEMUG,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using this website, registering for an event, submitting information through the website, or participating in a NEMUG event, you agree to these Terms of Use.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use this website or register for NEMUG events.

1. Purpose of the Website

NEMUG provides a forum for IBM Maximo users, business partners, vendors, consultants, asset management professionals, and related industry participants to exchange information, share experiences, learn best practices, and participate in conferences, workshops, webinars, training sessions, and related events.

The information on this website is provided for general informational, educational, registration, and event coordination purposes.

2. No Affiliation or Endorsement

NEMUG is an independent user group. References to IBM, Maximo, IBM Maximo Application Suite, MAS, or other third-party products, services, companies, or trademarks are for identification and informational purposes only.

Unless expressly stated, NEMUG does not endorse, guarantee, sponsor, or make representations regarding any third-party product, service, speaker, sponsor, vendor, exhibitor, or presentation.

All trademarks, service marks, logos, and trade names are the property of their respective owners.

3. Event Registration and Attendance

By registering for or attending a NEMUG event, you agree to comply with all event rules, venue requirements, safety policies, badge requirements, and instructions provided by NEMUG or the event venue.

NEMUG reserves the right to refuse admission, revoke registration, remove an attendee from an event, or deny future participation if an attendee engages in disruptive, unsafe, inappropriate, fraudulent, or unprofessional conduct.

4. Registration Fees, Cancellations, and Refunds

Event registration fees, if any, will be stated on the applicable registration page.

Unless otherwise stated for a specific event:

  1. Registrations may be transferred to another attendee from the same organization with prior notice to NEMUG.
  2. Cancellation and refund policies may vary by event.
  3. NEMUG may cancel, postpone, relocate, or modify an event due to venue issues, speaker availability, weather, safety concerns, low registration, or circumstances beyond our control.
  4. NEMUG is not responsible for attendee travel, lodging, meals, incidental expenses, or other costs incurred in connection with an event.

You may want to customize this section with a specific refund rule, for example: “Refunds are available until 14 days before the event, less processing fees.”

5. Event Content and Speaker Materials

Presentations, handouts, slides, recordings, demonstrations, and other event materials are provided for informational and educational purposes only.

Views expressed by speakers, sponsors, vendors, exhibitors, or attendees are their own and do not necessarily reflect the views of NEMUG.

NEMUG does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, reliability, suitability, or continued availability of any event content, technical recommendation, product statement, roadmap discussion, or third-party presentation.
